Little Missy Sunshine

Little Miss Sunshine Movie is good to learn about family life. First, I like the Grandfather’s advise about life. Especially when he advises is grandson Dwayne. He said “when you are young you have to have women” and “when you are young it’s easy to get drug, but it’s hard to get out”. Second, the grandfather teaches his granddaughter Olive self-confidence. For example: when he teaches Olive how to dance to be herself, to be strong and when she asks him if she is going to be loser he tells her “ you are not a loser, a loser is a person never tries to do anything don’t be afraid to lose, but he overdoses before her dance competition in the hotel room. Little Miss sunshine is a wonderful movie to learn confidentiality, family love and strong peelings.

LOS ANGELES

Los Angeles is a great place to spend a vacation for two reasons. First of all, Los Angeles has the Hollywood Universal Studio there is something for every one in this area. For example: a variety of museums, such as the Museums of Television and Radio. On the famous Hollywood Boulevard, you can view all the celebrity stars on the ground. Second, Los Angeles has a lot of beautiful hotels and restaurants. For Example: Tower Hotel is located in Beverly Hills it has been the home to many Hollywood studio executive, they offer a heated outdoor pool, on site fitness center and private balconies in all guest rooms. The Sheraton Hotel is located at the back of the Universal studios they offer rides from the hotel to the Universal Studios. Third, shopping is another top attraction of the LA area. For example: the Shopping Venture is offer neat shops and there are friendly vendors. LA is a wonderful place to visit for fashion, film, and fun.

The Book of My Life

The book of my life is the Holy Bible. Over 60 writers have written it, it talks about God, the beginning generation, and the details of creation, righteous people and sinners. The Holly Bible leads many people’s mind and life to the right way. Thus it gives peace and satisfaction to people who believe in God. I have a great interest in it. And I always get advice from it as a friend. So I like to read a chapter a day. That’s why I said in my opinion; the Holly Bible is the book of my life.

The death of people

Today I went to my friend grandmother funeral ceremony. I saw sad people. I said death is tragedy, and it makes people sad. People don’t like death: however, it is part of their life, and it takes each of them all the time. Nobody knows when it comes suddenly and takes someone. I just think about it. In the world, millions of people die everyday. Some of them drowning, some of them at war, some of them by accident, or for different reasons. So nobody remains on earth. Everybody has to wait for that date.

Valentine's Day

Today is a Valentine’s Day. This day is a special day for couples. I had a good time with my husband. My wonderful husband's name is Degefaw. He gave me a diamond nickels and a beautiful rose and I bought him a shirt and a tie. We had a wonderful and delicious dinner together. I love him very much. I pray and I wish good things for him every day.

Today it rained a lot. I didn't go out. I am off from work, so I stay home all day. I called to my friends and family member. I checked my email and send some letters for my friends and forwarded emails. I like to use the Internet, because there is a lot of information, it is fun. Internet is an easy way to find every thing. For example: - cars, Jobs, houses, and hospitals.

My Best Friend

I called my best friend in Ethiopia. I had a special best friend who had a long time experience with me. His name is Adenew. He had a good relationship with people. Adenew and I were collogues Ethiopian Roads Authority. I had a long time experience with him. We did every thing together. For example: eating, relaxing, praying and exercising. I like my special best friend, and I will never forget him.

Today I didn't do anything after I woke up I took my shower and dresses my self. I went to church because every week Sunday we have a church program. At church, we have pray time, Bible Study time and sing song program. I like church songs very much. Usually I listen to song. I don't like rap or other kind of music. I Pray all time about my self, my friends, my families and about world peace. I wishes One day God answer my pray. Peace for every one.

My youngest brother wants to buy some presents and my sister buys card and champagne. We surprised him when he came in the house. He was really happy with his birthday party. Today I feel better than Yesterday. I cook launch and I clean my home. I eat lunch with my brother's and my sister. We talked about our day and week. Some of us had a nice week and fun time some of us had a terrible week. I had a good time with my brother and my sister.

Today was not my day because I didn't feel well. Maybe I miss my family or my friends, but I had a headache. I went to work; I couldn't stay home all day. I felt better after I took two Advil. Some people say headache is a symptom of other pain or disease. But I don't like to go hospital because I don't like taking a lot of pills.

I braided my friend hair. I went to an Ethiopian restaurant call Addis the food is delicious and spicy. I met a lot of friends. We talked about our country and neighbors and family life. I had a good time.

Before I went to school I called my family back home for 20 minutes. I was at school until noon. After school I prepared Ethiopian food. I ate my lunch and I arrived at my job.

I took my brother to school in the morning. Then I went to library until my class started. After my class I ate lunch and at 3:00 PM. I went to work.

I woke up in the morning to go church. My religion is Orthodox. We have Ethiopian church in Oakland. Every Sunday we have a Bible study program and we sing songs. Today is different from the other day we celebrated the Epiphany day. I had a great day.

My youngest brother wants to buy some presents and my sister buys card and champagne. We all together when he came home from LasVegas surprised him. He was really happy with his birthday party. We ask him a lot of question about his next year plan. He said, he is going to married his girlfriend next April. Introduce my self

My name is Haimanot. Call me "Haimy". That is easy for everybody and familiar for me. I was born in 1975 and I grew up in Addis Ababa the capital city of Ethiopia. I was married three years ago. I had worked at Ethiopian Roads Authority at a secretary about four years. After I got America Visa, I quit my job and came to U.S.A. I've been in America for 3 and half years. I live in Oakland near to Lake Merit. I am friendly with everybody. My hobbies are swimming, reading and surfing Internet. Especially I like to use Internet because I can get much information and fun. Now I am attending ESL class to improve my English. My achievement goal is nursing. I hope I finished successfully.
